About us

An independent project, not a company.

DropWave is built and maintained by an independent developer. It is not owned by, affiliated with, or endorsed by any company, and it is completely free to use — there is nothing to buy, subscribe to, or unlock.

The project started with a simple frustration: sending a file to the phone sitting right next to yours shouldn't require the internet, an account, or a cloud service in another country. DropWave keeps transfers where they belong — on your devices, and nowhere else.
